Conference Services

NMC offers expertise and assistance organizing conferences, workshops, summer schools, or symposia that are related to building statewide collaborations in science and education in New Mexico. The NMC can sponsor and run conferences or provide services in support to other organizations. Meeting Facilities

NMC has three conference rooms available for use in the Los Alamos Research Park and one conference room at our Biological Laboratory facility at 100 Entrada Drive.  NMC offices and common rooms when otherwise unoccupied may be available for appropriate activities related to our purpose.  Follow this link to Meeting Facilities for full descriptions, policies and reservation procedures.

Office Subletting

NMC offers short-term (1-6 month) office sublets in the Los Alamos Research Park when we have unoccupied space. The monthly lease rate ranges from $800 to $1500 per office.  NMC rents office space for $60 per day to outside entities. Priority is given to activities that complement NMC’s purpose. The NMC offices are furnished and include internet, use of NMC reception, meeting rooms, and kitchen. Contact the Facilities Administrator for information about cost and availability.

NMC Offices for Collaborative Activity

Offices and common rooms are available to researchers from partner institutions for appropriate use in support of our mission.  Use of non-conference space is managed informally through the receptionist and subject to case-by-case approval of the Business Operations Manager.

Machining for Research Applications

NMC maintains a machining capability for scientific applications.  We machine parts and tools for our own experimental setups, but we also provide this service to non-NMC researcher programs for a fee.  The charge for this service is $50/hour labor plus materials.  Contact the Facilities Administrator.
